East Lansing should be going nuts!!!!

On the banks of the Red CedarThere's a school that's known to all
Its specialty is winning
And those Spartans play good ball
Spartan Teams are never beaten
All through the game they'll fight
Fight for the only colors
Green and White
Go right through for MSU
Watch the points keep growing
Spartan Teams are bound to win, they're fighting with a vim
Rah! Rah! Rah!
See their team is wwweeeaaaaaakkkkk
We're going to win this game!
Fight! Fight! Rah, Team, Fight!Victory for MSU!

What a game tonight between MSU and Duke. I might think this because MSU beat up on Duke, but it was still a good game. Wisconsin won, UNC won and Kentucky won. I got one wrong tonight. Not too bad at all. UNC almost lost tonight. Wouldn't that have been funny. MSU is in the Elite 8 again. That is just so nice. I hope we beat the snot out of Kentucky on Sunday and return to the Final Four against maybe the best team in the country. That is if Wisconsin does not beat them on Sunday. It could be a rematch of the 2000 Championships. I hope MSU still has what it takes win win a few more games. IZZO looks like he has MSU is the right state of mind. I look forward to Easter Sunday. Have a good holiday everyone.

Very surprised about the success the Big 10 has had in this tourney. Don't take this the wrong, but I think you guys drew some favorable matchups.

The Illini are legit, as they just proved with tough, gutsy win over a very good 'Zona team. But I think Wisconsin got kinda an easy road. Yes they beat Bucknell, who beat Kansas, but Bucknell just had a good night against Kansas, and Kansas has played poorly lately. After that perfect start, Kansas fizzled down the stretch. And beating NC State, nah, not impressed. NC State has been up-and-down all season: they happened to be UP against UConn.

Meanwhile, though, props to Michigan State for their revenge against Duke. That was a very good win. But we knew the two teams were a good match anyway: their matchup in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge was close until the last couple of minutes. Still, Vermont in the 2nd round was a stroke of luck: Gerry Mac had a bad game for Syracuse, and Vermont knocked off the Orange. But Vermont, while pretty good, isn't the sort of elite athletic team that could match up for a full 40 minutes with the Spartans. And Duke has had its struggles of late, too: Reddick hasn't shot well in the tourney.

So yeah, I still think the Big 10, except for Illinois, is overrated. But the Illini, now, they're like St. Joe's from last year except they have 3 NBA-caliber guards (Head, Brown, Williams) instead of two (Nelson, West).

Impressive win against 'Zona. Very nicely done. Louisville should be a cakewalk after that one.

UNC/'Nova, I just hopped off the UNC bandwagon after that one. FYI, that was a Villanova team whose best player (Sumpter) was out hurt. When Sumpter was hurt earlier this year, I saw that same 'Nova squad play my Providence Friars earlier this season and force an amazing 30+ turnovers. Still, 'Nova only managed to win that Providence game by 3 points. And UNC beats 'Nova by 1 point? Not impressed.
