Big Mike Williams says NO to ESPN

This past week, ESPN asked Lions rookie WR Mike Williams if he would like to take part in a show to be aired durring training camp where Mike Williams would have a camera and be wired on and off the playing field. I believe the show is called "Hey Rookie" or something very simular. Mike Williams said no to ESPN. I first I thought this was stupid, because it would give Detroit some press. After thinking about it, it was probably a good decision on Mike's part. He would not have the pressure and camera on him at all times so he can concintrate and football and helping out the Lions. I think Mike Williams can become a heck of a player. He has been learning from one of the best the past year in Chris Carter. Chris has probably tought Mike some of the ins and outs of the game. The in and outs that take years to learn. What Mike lacks is game playing experience over the past year. Once he gets his feet wet we might have one of the best offenses in the league. If Joey gets his act together and starts throwing the ball to his WRs we can win a lot of games this season.

The Lions can make a run at the superbowl this year, If harrington or Garcia can step up. they have 4 starting WR's in Roy Williams, Mike Williams, charles Rogers and Kevin Johnson. there o-line is better, with addition of Rick Demulling.Kenoy Kennedy, McQuarters add depth and talent to the secondary. their D is very underated. the specials teams is solid. I liked what they did in the draft. Willams will be a beast at WR, Cody should of been a 1st rounder, Stanley Wilson provides depth, Dan Orlovsky was a very good pick, he had a great collage career, reminds me of Tom Brady. Bill Swancutt dominated the senior bowl. Lions in 2005: 11-5, possibly better
